ColdNet is an offline AI knowledge application for iOS. It provides AI-powered search across a locally stored Wikipedia knowledge base, running entirely on your device. ColdNet is designed to work without an internet connection after the initial setup and downloads are complete.

To use ColdNet, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

ColdNet is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly.

AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate. ColdNet uses a local language model to generate responses. While responses are grounded in Wikipedia articles through our search system, the AI may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. Do not rely on ColdNet for medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.

Wikipedia content is provided as-is. The knowledge base is derived from Wikipedia and is subject to the same limitations. Wikipedia content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.

Offline means offline. After downloading the AI model and knowledge base, ColdNet works without internet. However, account creation, sign-in, and the initial downloads require an internet connection.

ColdNet, its design, code, and branding are owned by ColdNet. The Wikipedia knowledge base is used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License. The AI model (Llama 3.2) is used under the Meta Llama Community License.

ColdNet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content, data loss from device issues, or interruptions in service.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ColdNet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
